Job Description:
* Planning & Scheduling: Create and manage daily, weekly, and long-term production schedules.
* Budget & Cost Control: Prepare and monitor production budgets, estimate costs, and minimize waste.
* Quality & Safety: Enforce quality control standards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Team Supervision: Lead, train, appraise, and schedule production floor personnel.
* Equipment & Maintenance: Oversee preventive maintenance programs and address machinery or line bottlenecks.
* Continuous Improvement: Implement methodologies like Lean Manufacturing (a system that reduces waste in a manufacturing process) or Six Sigma (a set of techniques to improve quality by removing defects).
