Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced HR Executive to manage plant-level HR operations at our Waluj MIDC facility. The ideal candidate will take independent ownership of factory compliance, successfully navigate customer and third-party audits, and efficiently manage manpower handling for both on-roll and contractual workforces.
Key Responsibilities
1. Factory Compliance & Statutory Audits
- Audit Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all customer audits, social compliance audits (e.g., SMETA, VDA), and government inspections.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure 100% adherence to the Factories Act, Payment of Wages Act, Minimum Wages Act, ESI & PF Acts, and Bonus Act.
- Licensing: Timely renewal of the Factory License, MPCB consents, Shop & Establishment licenses, and Contract Labour Licenses.
- Documentation: Maintain all statutory registers, forms, and returns required under central and Maharashtra state labor laws.
2. Manpower Handling & Contractor Management
- Contractor Oversight: Monitor contract labor agencies to ensure compliance with minimum wage payouts, PF/ESIC submissions, and labor law regulations.
- Attendance & Payroll: Manage daily attendance, shift allocations, overtime calculations, and leave management for shop-floor workmen.
- Grievance Redressal: Address shop-floor grievances promptly to maintain a healthy and strike-free industrial relations (IR) environment.
3. HR Administration & Plant Operations
- Daily Operations: Oversee time office operations, canteen management, and factory security administration.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly HR dashboards, including headcount, attrition, absenteeism, and compliance scorecards for the plant management.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: MBA / PGDM in HR, Master of Labour Studies (MLS), MSW, or equivalent degree.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of core HR experience strictly within a manufacturing plant or factory environment.
- Audit Experience: Proven track record of successfully clearing customer audits from major OEMs or MNC clients.
- Languages: Fluent in Marathi (highly preferred for labor handling) and English.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Maharashtra labor rules, excellent negotiation tactics, and proficiency in MS Excel and Time Office Software.
