Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup & Operation: Configure and operate Wire EDM or wire-cutting machines, position workpieces, mount fixtures, and thread wire through precision guides.
- Reading Technical Drawings: Interpret engineering blueprints, 2D drawings, CAD data, and tool sheets to understand dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish requirements.
Programming & Adjustments: Load, edit, or write basic CNC programs, adjust spark parameters, wire tension, feed rates, and cutting passes.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect finished parts using precision tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, or profile projectors.
- Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine daily/weekly machine cleaning, monitor wire usage, replace worn wire guides/consumables, and fix minor operational errors
