Position: Tooling Engineer / Sr Engineer / Asst. Manger
Salary: ₹ 5 LPA to 10 LPA
Location: Kothur Plant - Hyderabad
Job Description
Knowledge about branded, non-branded tooling supplier
Capable to make the individual tooling selection for turning & milling applications CNC, HTL, VTL, HMC, VMC, VTM
Knowledge about GD&T to plan tool likewise
Knowledge about SolidWorks 3D and 2D software’s
Knowledge of process capability
Knowledge of cutting parameters for different kind of tools
Ability to make the cycle time estimation.
Adhere to all ISO/ IATF procedures pertaining to job responsibilities
Coordinating with suppliers
Coordinate & follow up with supplier to get the required tools as per planned timeline.
Support during prove out in all respect
Cycle time computation, feasibility Execution of planned & designed tools
Ability to work in fast paced / team environment & shifts
Provide guidance to Prove-out Team
Skills & Behavioural attributes
Strong communication skills,
Milling & Turning tooling selection Knowledge for automobile and other industries component's tooling.
Capable to do individually verification and selection of tools with respect to operation & process sequence.
Define the Tool process sequence as per customer drawing.
Process knowledge, Presentation skills for customer presentation.
Knowledge to tooling suppliers & costing.
Knowledge of Cycle time computation for turning & milling components
Knowledge for the cutting geometry
Knowledge of cutting rakes & reliefs
Knowledge of cutting parameters
3D knowledge to check tool interface
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering
