Key Job Responsibilities  Operate extrusion machines according to SOPs and

approved process parameters.
 Carry out machine start-up, shutdown and changeover
activities.
 Check raw materials and ensure correct material loading and
feeding.
 Monitor temperature, pressure, screw RPM, feed rate,
line speed and output to achieve product specs.
 Monitor product quality during production and report
deviations immediately & take corrective action.
 Perform routine adjustments to maintain stable extrusion
process.
 Identify abnormalities such as unusual noise, vibration,
pressure fluctuations, poor output or product defects.
 Assist supervisors and maintenance personnel during
troubleshooting.
 Carry out screen/filter changes, die cleaning and other
routine operating activities as authorized.
 Minimize material wastage and maintain good housekeeping
around the extrusion line.
 Record production quantity, rejection, downtime and
process parameters.
 Follow PPE, LOTO, machine-safety and other EHS
requirements.
 Maintain 5S and cleanliness of the extrusion area.
 Perform proper shift handover and communicate
machine/process issues.
 Follow batch/production instructions and quality
specifications & target zero defect products.
 Set up and monitor extruders, dies, feeders, cooling systems,
take-off units and associated equipment.
 Monitor product quality, dimensions, appearance and
process consistency.

 Troubleshoot extrusion-related problems such as die build-
up, melt fracture, surging, poor dispersion, dimensional

variation and overheating.
