MEP Design Engineer

Job Description:

Role Overview
The MEP Design Engineer will support the planning and design of pharmaceutical cleanrooms and associated
building services, ensuring that layouts and engineering systems meet project requirements, applicable
standards, and GMP expectations.

Key Responsibilities
 Develop and review MEP design deliverables for pharmaceutical projects, with a focus on cleanroom and
controlled-environment facilities.
 Prepare and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, drainage, utility and other relevant MEP layouts and design
documents.
 Coordinate with architectural, process, electrical and other engineering teams to resolve interface and layout
issues.
 Support preparation and review of design calculations, equipment schedules, specifications, BOQs and
technical documents, as applicable.
 Ensure designs align with project requirements, applicable codes, GMP principles and client specifications.
 Review vendor drawings, respond to technical queries and support site teams during execution when
required.

Required Skills
 Strong understanding of pharmaceutical cleanroom design and MEP coordination.
 Working knowledge of relevant design tools such as AutoCAD; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage.
 Ability to read engineering drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and manage design
deliverables.
 Good communication, problem-solving and documentation skills.
