Executive - Maintenance

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities
1. Equipment Maintenance & Supervision
•
Maintenance of:
o
Filtration systems: AVPF, Filter Presses, HBF, RVDF
o
High-pressure vessels with agitators
o
Dryers: rotary calciners, belt dryers, spin flash dryers
o
Centrifugal blowers, process pumps, and material lifts
•
Oversee repair, overhaul, and mechanical fabrication activities
•
Manage maintenance of utilities such as compressors, chillers, cooling towers, thermic fluid heaters, RO/DM plants
•
Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance programs
•
•
Exposure to equipment relevant to our plant operations, such as:
o
Filtration (AVPF, HBF,RVDF etc.)
o
Vacuum pumps
o
Rotary kilns, Spray dryers, spin flash dryers, box dryers, belt dryers
o
Reactors and mixing vessels
o
Air compressors, chillers, thermic fluid heaters , cooling towers,
o
Pumps, gearboxes, pipeline fabrication and plant modification projects
2. Safety & Compliance
•
Ensure strict adherence to LOTOTO (Lockout–Tagout–Tryout) procedures
•
Implement permit-to-work systems: Hot Work, Confined Space, Height Work
•
Promote and enforce safe work practices for internal teams and contractors
•
Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and incident investigations
3. Piping & Projects
•
Supervise piping work, mechanical installation, and fabrication jobs
•
Read and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, and isometric drawings
•
Provide support during shutdowns, turnarounds, and commissioning
4. System Knowledge & Documentation
•
Proficient in using SAP for maintenance logging and spare tracking
•
Maintain detailed maintenance records, equipment downtime logs, and RCA reports
5. Team & Contractor Management
•
Supervise and guide a team of technicians and contractors
•
Ensure timely execution of work with high safety and quality standards
•
Coordinate effectively with Production, EHS, and other departments
Productivity Expectation
The selected candidate is expected to be fully productive within 3 months of joining.
About the Candidate
Education and Experience
•
B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
•
4-6 years (Graduate) or 10+ (Diploma holders) of hands-on experience in a chemical/process plant setting
Domain Knowledge
•
Strong mechanical knowledge of rotating and static equipment
•
Familiarity with utilities such as air compressors, thermic fluid systems, cooling towers, and chillers
Competencies and Skills
•
Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintenance best practices
•
Knowledge of safety systems including LOTOTO and permit-based work
•
Capable of leading teams and coordinating with cross-functional departments
•
SAP maintenance module experience preferred
