Job Title: BIM Modeler

Location: Thaltej, Ahmedabad

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled BIM Modeler to generate residential/ Commercial models for our clients using Revit Architecture software. In this role, you will be required to coordinate with architects and engineers to discuss design concepts for CAD models, develop designs, and generate software models.

To ensure success as a BIM Modeler, you should have extensive experience working with Revit Architecture software, advanced design skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Education

• Diploma or B.E. in Civil Engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related degree.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Revit Architecture (Mandatory). (Structural candidates can apply.)

• Extensive knowledge of Revit Architecture software.

• Working knowledge of BIM industry workflows, production cycle, and priorities.

• Integration of Revit products with other applications (AutoCAD, Takentool, Dynamo).

Key Responsibilities

• Create initial REVIT® project setup with workflow documents.

• Initiate models for each project and prepare them for the production team.

• Provide BIM/REVIT® project kick-off information.

• Work as part of a BIM/CAD support team to achieve consistent results.

• Handle daily modelling production and perform QC of the productions.

• Provide REVIT® Architecture and BME desktop support.

• Provide over-the-shoulder training, developing, and shadowing to co-team members.

• Create content, including parametric, formula, and nested families, and schedules.

• Work with architecture disciplines on content received and update it as per the BME’s standards.

• Support linked views and other requirements in multiple-model situations.

• Uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related degree.

• Proven work experience in BIM projects.

• Extensive knowledge of Revit Architecture software.

• A detail-oriented and creative individual.

• Ability to meet deadlines and multitask.
