Project Engineer ( CoE-INFRA )

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage different stages of the life cycle of construction projects.
• Perform cost estimations with reference to SOR/DSR and market conditions, and prepare project budgets, including market surveys.
• Prepare work schedules and allocate resources, while coordinating with junior engineers, construction managers, workers, technicians, and contractors.
• Document processes and present project progress updates to senior managers and clients.
• Manage procurement activities, including bid preparation, contract administration, project monitoring, bid compliance, site measurements, and coordination with the MEPF team.
• Handle bid-related responsibilities, including bid preparation, bid evaluation, and pre-bid query clarifications.

Attributes

• Postgraduate M.E. (Civil) / M.Tech. (Construction) candidates with 2–4 years of experience, or undergraduate B.E. (Civil) / B.Tech. candidates with 4–6 years of experience.
• Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrate strong technical expertise in civil engineering, excellent leadership and management skills, and strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, Revit, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, ArcGIS, Google Earth, Navisworks, and other similar software.
• Exhibit sound communication skills, as well as strong drafting and writing skills.
• Be familiar with standard bidding documents and related applications.
