Job Description:

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for operating extrusion machines used in manufacturing plastic films, sheets, pipes, or granules while ensuring quality production, machine efficiency, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor extrusion machine during production.
Set temperature, pressure, speed, and other machine parameters.
Feed raw materials into hopper as per production requirement.
Ensure product quality as per specification.
Monitor thickness, width, weight, and appearance of product.
Reduce rejection and material wastage.
Perform startup and shutdown of machine safely.
Maintain daily production and machine records.
Identify machine issues and inform maintenance team.
Follow SOPs, GMP, and safety procedures.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of extrusion process and machine settings.
Understanding of raw materials and plastic grades.
Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
Basic mechanical knowledge.
Ability to work in shifts.
Qualification :
ITI / Diploma in Plastic Technology / Mechanical preferred.
HSC with relevant experience may also apply.
Experience: 1–5 years in extrusion process in plastic industry.
