Job Description:
The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) recruits candidates for the Bihar Police Fire Service under a structured job profile.
Job Responsibilities
- Firefighting & Control: Operating fire engines, hoses, and specialized equipment to put out structural, industrial, and vehicle fires.
- Emergency Rescue: Saving trapped civilians, animals, and property during accidents, floods, building collapses, or disaster situations.
- Traffic & Crowd Management: Managing order and clearing paths at accident or fire spots to allow smooth emergency vehicle access.
- Safety & Prevention: Conducting safety drills, inspecting equipment, and enforcing safety regulations during public events or rescue operations.
Pay Scale & Salary Structure
- Pay Scale: Level 3 under the 7th Pay Commission (Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month).
- Basic Pay: Rs. 21,700
- Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Medical, Ration, and Risk allowances (totaling roughly Rs. 18,205).
- Deductions: NPS, PF, and GIS (totaling roughly Rs. 7,430).
- In-Hand Salary: Approximately Rs. 28,000 to Rs. 32,675 per month.
