Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Media Preparation and Production Planning

• Prepare different types of media according to the approved production plan and instructions.

• Arrange the required chemicals, raw materials, and other materials before starting media preparation.

• Carry out media preparation activities using the designated mixing vessels and associated equipment.

• Ensure that media preparation activities follow the prescribed process sequence and applicable operating procedures.

• Check the availability of chemicals and materials required for planned production activities.

• Coordinate with the production team to complete media preparation activities according to the schedule.

• Maintain proper work practices and follow the instructions provided by the reporting manager.

• Report shortages, process irregularities, or other operational concerns to the appropriate supervisor.

2. Serum Clarification and Filtration

• Perform serum clarification activities as required by the production process.

• Carry out serum filtration according to established procedures and instructions.

• Handle serum and associated materials carefully during processing.

• Monitor filtration activities and report any observed irregularities.

• Follow applicable hygiene, handling, and contamination-prevention practices.

• Coordinate with the relevant production personnel to ensure the timely completion of serum processing activities.

3. Laminar Air Flow Unit (LAFU) Operations

• Perform assigned activities in the Laminar Air Flow Unit.

• Carry out operations involving PBS, PBD, GMS, IMS, SCS, and other media or materials specified in the original job requirements.

• Follow the applicable procedures for handling materials and performing work in the designated controlled environment.

• Maintain appropriate housekeeping and work discipline in the LAFU area.

• Observe applicable aseptic handling and contamination-control practices.

• Follow established instructions for equipment use, material handling, and operational procedures.

• Report any abnormalities or deviations observed during assigned activities.

4. Sterilization and Hot Room Operations

• Take responsibility for assigned sterilization activities associated with media preparation.

• Check sterilization-related activities involving designated materials and equipment.

• Verify the status of sterilization activities for SDM tubes and STM tubes, as specified in the original job description.

• Follow established sterilization procedures and instructions.

• Maintain attention to process requirements and the proper handling of materials.

• Report any observed issues related to sterilization activities to the reporting manager.

• Coordinate with the media section and other relevant teams to support the planned production schedule.

5. Chemical Arrangement and Material Management

• Arrange the chemicals required for scheduled media preparation activities.

• Check chemical availability according to the production plan.

• Ensure that required materials are organized and available before commencing assigned activities.

• Coordinate the movement and availability of materials within the designated work area.

• Inform the reporting manager of shortages or other issues that may affect production planning.

• Follow the organization's applicable procedures for material identification, handling, and storage.

6. Media Section Coordination

• Coordinate day-to-day activities in the media section.

• Support the preparation of different media types according to the production plan.

• Coordinate activities involving chemical arrangement, media preparation, serum filtration, and sterilization.

• Ensure that assigned work is carried out according to instructions and established procedures.

• Communicate operational requirements and work progress to the reporting manager.

• Support the smooth execution of planned media preparation activities.

• Perform other production-related duties assigned by the manager.

7. Compliance, Documentation and Housekeeping

• Follow applicable pharmaceutical manufacturing procedures and site-specific operating instructions.

• Maintain cleanliness and orderly working conditions in the media section, LAFU, and hot room.

• Follow applicable hygiene, safety, and contamination-control practices.

• Complete any required operational records or documentation according to company procedures.

• Report deviations, material shortages, and operational issues to the responsible manager.

• Support compliance with the organization's applicable quality and manufacturing requirements.
