Job Description:
Position: SCM Engineer
Location: Daman
Experience: 2 - 5 Years
Industries: Engineering
Responsibilities:
- Experience of Bought out Items like Flanges,Fasteners,Rubber,Bolts,Gaskets
- Knowledge of Machining components
- Experience in Pump Industry would be an advantage.
- Work with team to overcome challenges on PR
- Work with planning to manage inventory control
- work on process improvement, identify the NVA in process and implement the new process accordingly
- Source the new suppliers and onboard them as per requirement
- Participation in Kaizen/Workshops
- Develop Vendor database for better Negotiations and improvement in Quality and OTD
- work with supplier to meet SOTD
- Work with Supplier for Rate contracts.
- Work on Vendor Rationalization as per agreement with Global Sourcing
- Complete the mandatory trainings & also online supply chain trainings
- Identify the gaps at supplier and work accordingly with supplier to meet OTD & Quality requirement
- Work with Quality for high DPPM suppliers and develop the improvement plan for each supplier accordingly
- Support Team on Pre-bid actvities
- Detailed Orientated
- MIS reporting
- Team player & understands change management
- Good knowledge of Supplier Market for various Bought out items
- Good understanding about Commodity management and Contract agreements
- Good understanding about the pricing and negotiation strategy for the said parts
- Well versed with the complete SCM cycle from Bid Stage to sorting out Warranty issue if any
- Good Understanding about Project Management Aspects
- Very Good Exposure on Vendor Management
- Hands on Experience of using SAP version
- Good understanding about Lean principles
Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical/Production
Salary: Upto 7.00 LPA
