Key Responsibilities of a Rubber Moulding Supervisor

• Supervise daily rubber moulding operations and ensure production targets are achieved within the scheduled timelines.

• Monitor rubber moulding machines, mould setting, material preparation, and production parameters.

• Ensure proper control of moulding temperature, pressure, curing time, and other process parameters, as applicable to the equipment.

• Manage production operators and helpers, allocate duties, and monitor shop-floor productivity.

• Inspect moulded rubber components for surface defects, flash, cracks, dimensional variations, and other quality issues.

• Minimize production rejection, rework, material wastage, and machine downtime.

• Coordinate with quality control, maintenance, stores, and production planning teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

• Ensure proper handling, cleaning, and maintenance of moulds, tools, and production equipment.

• Maintain daily production reports, shift records, rejection reports, and machine utilization records.

• Follow standard operating procedures, workplace safety guidelines, and 5S practices.

• Identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions to improve productivity and product quality.

• Train and guide production operators on safe working practices and standard moulding procedures.

Required Skills and Experience
