Instrument Engineer
Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
-
Prepare and review P&IDs, Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets and Instrument Specifications.

Handle selection and sizing of field instruments such as Pressure, Temperature, Flow and Level Transmitters.

Work on Control Valves, Pressure Safety Valves, Gas Detectors and other instrumentation systems.

Prepare Instrument Hook-up Drawings, Cable Schedules, Loop Diagrams and Instrument Layouts.

Coordinate with PLC, SCADA, DCS and control system teams for automation requirements.

Prepare technical specifications, material requisitions and technical bid evaluation documents.
-
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for instrument procurement and technical clarification.

Support site installation, inspection, testing, loop checking and commissioning activities.
-
Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards and applicable engineering codes.

Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Process and Project Engineering teams.
Required Skills
-
Strong knowledge of Instrumentation & Control Systems.
-
Hands-on experience in P&ID reading and instrumentation engineering.
-
Knowledge of field instruments, control valves and gas detection systems.
-
Understanding of PLC/SCADA/DCS systems.
-
Experience in Instrumentation Design and Project Execution.

Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
-
Experience in Chemical, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Oil & Gas or EPC industries will be preferred.

Good communication and coordination skills.
