Department: Maintenance - Electrical
Location: Corrugation Plant, Shendra Chh shambhajinagar
Reports To: AGM Maintenance / Maintenance manager
1. Job Purpose:
To ensure maximum uptime, safety, and efficiency of all electrical systems and equipment in the corrugation plant including corrugator, BHS lines, Printing machine , Conversion machine , Flat Bed Die Cutter, and utilities.
2. Key Responsibilities:
A. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance:
- Responsible for preventive, predictive, and Breakdown maintenance of all electrical panels, drives (VFD / Servo), motors, sensors, PLCs, and automation systems.
- Maintain MTTR and MTBF within target. Attend Breakdowns on priority and ensure root cause analysis (RCA).
- Handle BHS corrugator, Printing machine , E&L, & other OEM machines.
B. Automation & Troubleshooting:
- Troubleshooting of Siemens / Allen Bradley / Mitsubhishi PLC, HMI, SCADA, and Drive systems.
- Maintain plant digitalization projects like live production monitoring, dashboard, IoT camera-based systems.
- Support installation & commissioning of new machines and project work .
C. Utilities & Safety:
- Ensure maintenance of HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, compressors, UPS, and power distribution.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO, statutory audits, and energy conservation.
- Maintain electrical spares inventory and documentation.
D. Documentation & Improvement:
- Maintain shift logbooks, PM checklists, SOPs, and Kaizen / TPM activities.
- Drive energy saving, cost reduction and automation improvement projects.
- Coordinate with OEMs like BHS, service vendors and internal teams.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Diploma / B.E. Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Experience: 3-8 years in corrugated packaging / paper / continuous process plant.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of PLC, VFD, Servo Drives, HT/LT systems, Industrial Automation.
- Soft Skills: Problem-solving, shift handling, team leadership.
4. Preferred:
- Experience in BHS Corrugated line , T One printing , coinversion machine , Manual stitching , rotary machine etc
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 / digitalization tools.
