AutoCAD Drafter – Structural Skids - POR (Vadodara)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare skid GA drawings, plan views, elevations and sections.
• Develop fabrication drawings for base frames, beams, columns, bracing, equipment supports and mounting arrangements.
• Prepare details for separator skids, flowback skids, sand management packages, piping skids and instrument supports.
• Prepare structural member cutting lists, BOMs, plate details and material take-offs.
• Develop equipment mounting and interface drawings showing vessels, pumps, piping, valves, instruments and access arrangements.
• Prepare lifting-lug, pad-eye, transport-support and tie-down arrangement drawings from approved engineering design.
• Prepare weld details, connection details, gusset plates, stiffeners and base-plate drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation and fabrication teams to avoid clashes and maintain service access.
• Incorporate approved structural calculations, equipment weights and client comments.
• Maintain revision-controlled drawings and prepare as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with QC to ensure dimensions, weld locations and inspection access match approved drawings.

Mandatory Technical Knowledge

• AutoCAD 2D and preferably 3D modelling.
• Structural steel sections, plates, bolted connections and welded joints.
• Reading structural calculations, load tables and approved skid design criteria.
• Fabrication tolerances, weld symbols, material grades and BOM preparation.
• Equipment mounting, maintenance access, lifting and transportation interfaces.
• Understanding of the applicable DNV standards specified by the client/project.
