Job Description & Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative, functional and aesthetically appealing furniture designs for residential and commercial applications.

• Create detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models using CAD software.

• Work with software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino and KeyShot.

• Select suitable materials such as wood, metal, fabric and plastics based on durability, aesthetics and cost.

• Ensure designs are structurally sound, safe and suitable for manufacturing.

• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production and resolve technical issues.

• Optimize designs to maintain quality while controlling production costs.

• Develop and test prototypes to ensure functionality, durability and usability.

• Coordinate with interior designers, project managers and production teams.

• Ensure quality standards, project timelines and design specifications are met.

• Manage multiple furniture design projects from concept development to final production.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor's Degree in:

• Industrial Design

• Furniture Design

• Mechanical Engineering

• Or any relevant field.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in furniture design and development.

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp or KeyShot.

• Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials and manufacturing processes.

• Knowledge of 2D drawings, 3D modelling and prototyping.

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to manage projects from conceptualization to completion.

Work Schedule

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
Weekly Off: Sundays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays
Age Limit: Up to 47 years

Relocation

Relocation is allowed, provided the candidate is willing to shift to Gurgaon.
