Job Title: Therapy specialist
Location: Kolkata
Core Roles & Responsibilities
- Clinical Education & Training: Train physicians, surgeons, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals on the proper administration, application, or implantation of specialized therapies and medical devices.
- Therapy Adoption & Market Development: Identify and develop the patient pathway within hospitals or clinics to ensure eligible patients are correctly identified and transitioned onto the therapy.
- In-Clinic & Procedural Support: Provide hands-on, real-time technical and clinical support during medical procedures, surgical cases, or complex therapy setups (e.g., programming devices, monitoring first-dosings).
- Key Opinion Leader (KOL) Engagement: Partner with leading clinicians and medical societies to drive awareness of clinical data, treatment guidelines, and the economic value of the therapy.
- Patient Support & Compliance Programs: Design and support initiatives that help patients understand their treatment, manage side effects, and adhere to their prescribed therapy regimens.
- Cross-Functional Clinical Alignment: Collaborate with Medical Affairs, Market Access, and Sales teams to gather real-world clinical feedback and align marketing strategies with clinical realities.
- Adverse Event & Safety Monitoring: Ensure strict adherence to pharmacovigilance, medical device reporting, and compliance guidelines regarding product safety and patient interactions.
