Experience: 5–8 years in commercial office interiors / corporate interior projects

Job Purpose

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Architect with experience in commercial office interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for developing design concepts, detailed drawings, working drawings, material specifications, and coordinating with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams to ensure successful project execution as per approved design, quality standards, timelines, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design & Concept Development

• Develop design concepts and layouts for commercial office and corporate interior projects.
• Prepare space planning, furniture layouts, reflected ceiling plans, flooring layouts, and interior elevations.
• Develop design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and concept proposals.
• Ensure designs are practical, functional, aesthetically appealing, and aligned with client requirements.
• Incorporate brand guidelines and workplace design standards into project designs.

2. Working & TechniConcept Development cal Drawings

• Prepare detailed architectural and interior working drawings for execution.
• Develop detailed drawings based on approved concepts and site conditions.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, coordinated, and issued to the site team within project timelines.
• Review shop drawings submitted by vendors and contractors.

3. Site Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Identify design or execution discrepancies and provide timely solutions.
• Assist the project team in resolving technical and design-related issues during execution.

4. MEP & Multidisciplinary Coordination

• Coordinate architectural/interior drawings with MEP services.
• Ensure proper coordination of HVAC, electrical, fire fighting, plumbing, lighting, and other services with the interior design.
• Review drawings to identify clashes between architectural, interior, and MEP elements.
• Coordinate with MEP engineers and consultants for design integration.

5. Material & Vendor Coordination

• Assist in finalising materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and other interior elements.
• Prepare and maintain material specifications and finish schedules.
• Verify materials and finishes at site against approved samples and specifications.

6. BOQ & Cost Coordination

• Assist the QS/estimation team in preparing BOQs and quantity requirements.
• Provide accurate quantities and specifications for architectural and interior elements.
• Support the team in evaluating design options based on project budget.
• Identify opportunities for value engineering without compromising design intent or quality.

7. Client & Consultant Coordination

• Attend client meetings and design discussions.
• Understand client requirements and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
• Present design concepts, drawings, materials, and proposed solutions to clients.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, PMC teams, and client representatives.

8. Project Documentation

• Maintain updated drawing registers and revision records.
• Ensure proper documentation of approved drawings, material samples, and design changes.
• Prepare and issue drawings as per project requirements and timelines.
• Maintain proper records of RFIs, design clarifications, and revisions.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of commercial office interior design and execution.
• Good understanding of space planning and workplace design.
• Strong knowledge of architectural/interior working drawings.
• Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Strong site coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
