Hiring for Design Manager for Machine Shop /Tool Holders & Cutting Tool Manufacturing Industry
Position:Design Manager Design Manager
Educational Qualifications: Bachelor of Engineering in the stream of Mechanical / Production. Or Diploma in Engineering in the stream of Mechanical
Desired Experience: Min 10 years experience in a Manufacturing company preferably in a Machine Shop / Tool Holders or Cutting Tool
Skills Set required/Job Profile :
- Handling customer, Supporting Marketing Team / Department
- Experience in product design and tool design.
- Hands-on Experience in CNC Machining operation & direct CNC codes programming on the machine
- Experience in Selection of Cutting tools and holders and optimized cutting parameters
- Experience in Planning the sequence of the manufacturing process for a given project or tool
- Involve and implement the latest manufacturing technology on the shop floor by performing benchmarks and trials on the machine.
- Preparing and Manufacturing INDEXABLE TOOL HOLDERS prepares 3D Model and 2D drawings using Solidworks, Solidcam, Unigraphics NX3, and NX6 and AUTO CAD.
- Eminent skills on Unigraphics & Solid Works for CAD & CAM applications & Oracle and SAP.
- Have operational skills on CNC, VMC (3, 4, Axes), Turn Mills & other conventional machines.
- Project management with on-time completion.
- Knows MS-Office, Excel for documentation & presentations.
- Good in GD&T, ISO standards & Engineering skills.
- Having Good knowledge of ISO & ANSI standard for the Cutting tool as well as in general.
- Have knowledge of Carbide inserts, Cartridge, CNC tooling, Turning, Milling, Grooving, Drilling, Fine boring, CBN, PCD, BT30, BT- 40, BT50, HSK, etc.
