IT Project Manager / Engineering Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented engineering manager to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in the overall success of our organization by planning, managing, and monitoring engineering functions. You will be responsible for overseeing various engineering projects, processes and making any necessary adjustments in order to ensure successful completion.

Responsibilities

1. Serve as the engineering leader and technical expert
2. Answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members
3. Create detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for the engineering team to use and abide by industrial-technological standards.
4. Check and confirm the accuracy of the work performed and the methods used by developers.
5. Monitor and determine various technological developer hiring and training needs
6. Spearhead various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes
7. Communicate and collaborate with other managers,user experience and designer team and quality assurance team
8. Prepare and deliver various engineering-related presentations, both internal team development.

Requirements 

1. Minimum of a degree in computer engineering
2. Engineering experience with technologies of React, PHP, and Python
3. Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a strong team
4. Organizational competencies and project management skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire engineering team on track
5. Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a timeline-driven environment
6. Interpersonal communication skills with expertise in distilling complicated topics to a broader audience
7. Ability to work individually or as part of a team
8. Good to have experience in mobile app development.
