We have an urgent opening for the position of Head Technical & Operation for a reputed Company for West Bengal Location.
Job Description:
Education: B Tech/ M Tech, Polymer/Plastic/Mechanical with MBA
Preferable - Experience in plastic packaging, BOPP, PPE, PP liner etc
Experience:
- 20+ years total experience preferably in both large and midsized manufacturing units managing production volumes and operation of multiple plants.
- Hardcore production person, having good knowledge and experience to turnaround units in productivity and overall operational excellence.
- Exposure in export oriented manufacturing plants
- Good customer orientation
- Work experience in West Bengal for substantial period
- Exposure in setting up new production units – green field projects
- Proven strategic contribution in business operation and people management
Profile KRA
- Implement best practices of TQM & value engineering
- Develop and implement strategies for operational excellence
- Improve productivity, quality awareness and compliance
- Develop new product variations and cost effective alternatives
- Train and develop team on technical capabilities
- Improve network and liaison with relevant authorities
- Guide production heads to set up good practices in the units & maintain healthy IR
- Responsible for the overall P&L of the units
- Need to travel in West Bengal and Gujarat for managing various plants
