ACCOUNTS MANAGER

Job Description:

• Yearly Budget forecasting and monitors cost control and efficiency 3. Physical inventory counts and cycle counts. Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
• 4. Support Controller's efforts for implementing and maintaining internal controls 5. Ensures standard costs in the bill of materials are updated periodically.
• Interact with Production to ensure Bills of Materials (BOM) are accurate and up to date. Review and audit BOM's to ensure they reflect the latest manufacturing practice
• 6. Prepares monthly financial statements and consolidations
• 7. Bank Account Reconciliation 8. General Ledger Account Analysis and subsidiary ledger reconciliation (A/P and A/R)
• 9. Prepares and approves Journal Entries and Inter-company transactions
• 10. Monthly Accruals and deferrals
• 11. Responsible for filing Excise taxes, property tax statements, etc
•  12. Maintains Fixed Assets and Peachtree accounting systems
• 13. Reviews Customer invoicing based on individual contract rates and requirements
• 14. Prepares annual government required contract reporting (Annual Incurred Cost Proposal)
• 15. Monitors government contract funding and invoicing
• 16. Responsible for any required reports from auditors and other government agencies
• 17. Prepares monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet and P & L and other schedules.
• 18. Assist in Financial Statements preparation
• 19. Bank Reconciliation (Monthly)
• 20. Responsible for International trade transactions, i.e., Letter of Credit and supporting documentation.
