Job Description:

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Small Dollar Purchase:
    • Manages lower complexity sourcing initiatives from development to execution while supporting more complex initiatives and change management efforts.
    • Evaluate vendor’s quotations to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.
    • Work with internal stakeholders across cities and countries to collect the requirements.
    • In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules.
    • Advise internal and external stakeholders on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.
    • Assist in implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high Day to day follow up with the vendor(s) on the orders placed.
    • Work with the vendor(s) in the delivery of the material as per schedule and keep the cities / countries informed.
  • Supplier Relationship Management:
    • Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.
    • Assist Regional Strategic Sourcing team in Performance Review for vendors.
    • Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectations.
  • Reporting
    • Preparing the reports around cost, efficiency, SLAs, KPIs and sharing with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Adhoc Requirement & Projects
    • Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
    • Work on process improvements in the supply management domain and take up short term and assist in long term projects.

 

Requirements

 

  • Min Diploma in Procurement or equivalent certifications.
  • Preferred 6-8 years relevant working experience in a similar capacity preferably in fast moving organisation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with suppliers and internal customers
  • Experience of working in a global environment is mandatory
  • Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
  • Resourceful, self-driven, proactive and independent worker
  • Hardworking and meticulous with positive attitude
  • Proficient in use of MS Office Applications (Words, Excel, Access)
  • Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well under stress in a fast paced environment
