Job Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical Test Automation Sr. Engineer, who has previously executed automated testing on large enterprise projects with comprehensive understanding of all aspects of SDLC in the Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible to ANALYSE System Requirements end to end to develop Test Automation Strategies for the application.
• Analyze User Journeys, Mind maps & Process Flows and create Test Automation Framework using Protractor/Katalon/Cucumber/Selenium to meet the required Quality and NFR for a given system
• Plan and specify the behavior driven testing required for new and updated features (stories) to the satisfaction of the team’s product owner.
• Write Automation Test Cases based on the defined Quality requirements and Testing Parameters for a given System
• Review Test cases / Test scripts written by peers/team members
• Produce automated Quality Reports demonstrating all the required Quality Metrics for a given system
• Perform exploratory testing – asking the “what if” questions and applying this to explore requirements, software, architecture etc.
• Define DEBUG structure to identify causes for any issues and develop speedier resolution
• Define User Acceptance Criteria, ideally using Gherkin scripts
• Become Quality Evangelist in the organization and advocate best practices to develop high quality software

Education and Experience :

• 3 to 6 Years of relevant experience as Developer in Test OR Test Automation Developer
• Should have worked on Enterprise level project with international client.
• A strong proven track record of designing and using the Java / Cucumber / Selenium WebDriver / Gherkin Stack across a multi-browser testing environment.
• Hands-on experience of testing Restful API based micro services and/or ESB asynchronous message-based systems.
• Experience in designing and running appropriate load tests (Locust / JMeter)
• A practical, hands-on approach to defining a suitable test suite appropriately covering all functional requirements.
• Experience of Java, Junit, JSON and XML and Test Automation.
• Experience of conducting Blackbox and Integration tests for API based Systems.
• Experience of conducting tests for Security & Performance.
• Experience of working in Test Driven Development
• Knowledge of WCAG Level 2.0
• Can work with Zephyr and JIRA
