Educational Qualification

Essential Under Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering

ii) Essential Experience

a) Total Professional Experience Preferably, 10 years after graduation

b) Experience in Highway projects Preferably, 08 years out of which 05 years in supervision of Highway projects in Construction Supervision Consultancy Contracts, with good experience in hill roads. He should have worked as a Deputy Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer/Highway Engineer/Pavement Engineer or equivalent for about five years. He should have experience in the use of modern survey and

construction techniques as well as be familiar with applicable Engineering Specifications and Standard.

Experience gained in administering either FIDIC or other internationally recognized Contract Documents

is required. Experience of working in live traffic situations and handling safety aspects of works is

essential. Should have handled at least one highway project funded by international lending agencies as Deputy Resident Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer/Highway Engineer/Pavement Engineer.

b) Experience in similar geographical conditions Preferably, have experience in Construction Supervision of highway projects in similar topographic conditions (Hilly terrain) having aggregate length of 50 km.
