Production Manager(PCB)

• Responsible for leading the Process Tech to define and maintain efficient manufacturing process and minimum process downtime to produce products that meet customer requirements.
• By driving problem solving tools, achieving the First Pass Yield and Down Time goal set.
• To maintain and provide process support for SMT and Reflow process development for NPI.
• BOM (Bill of Material) scrubbing & preparation. Study & implement ECN’s on line.
• To provide technical support for SMT in achieving production goals.
• Define process control methods, implement them, monitor them & take corrective actions for improvement.
• Focus on Continual improvement done & Kaizen events successfully.
• Programming of PCB engineering assemblies (SMT) of Yamaha Explore Software.
• Continually strives to balance and optimize line throughput, including efforts to minimize changeover downtime (i.e. common set-ups).
• Optimizes machine programs and set-ups to meet or exceed theoretical product run-rate.
• Maintains machine programs, part definition (PD) files and machine set-ups.
• Study the customer documents which is having total information about the product & its specification, critical process & critical parameter.
• Study the sample provided by customer & defines the process flow as per product requirements.
• As per defined process, preparation of work instructions & process instructions for each stage.
• Define the BGA rework process of SRT technology.
• Qualification of stencil, VI template, tooling, Jigs & fixture during Engineering evaluation build & preparation of qualification report of the same.
• Preparing and issuing process documents like BOM (Bill of Material), ECN (Engineering change notice), DCN (Design change notice), PFC (Process flow Chart) and quality documents like PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effective Analysis), PCP (Process control Plan) etc. to production for new as well as existing products.
• Train the operators for critical operations & processes.
• To evaluate and qualify new material which is not in AVL or new process change, by running SBR & follow-up.
