Lead Sales
Job Description:
- Responsible for handling and supporting all customer accounts. Must ensure that all customers are satisfied with respect to product delivery and overall experience with the company.
- Must take full responsibility to support and generate enough business for achievement of sales targets of the organization through effective planning and budgeting in association with his superiors and top management.
- Work closely with seniors and top management for sales forecasting/demand planning for current and future business needs. Contribute to monthly analysis and setting up reviews to address deviation to targets and plan for corrective action.
- Must ensure that appropriate action is taken for channel partner management for domestic and international business. Responsible for identifying channel partners, check their financial strength through various means and liason to get legal contracts signed to make them channel partners.
- Participate in marketing/sales promotion activities. Ensures that appropriate methods are identified to monitor the effectiveness of the activities planned from time to time. Responsible to liaison with advertising agencies, trade associations and trade bodies for promotion of the product from time to time.
- Participate in trade fairs and exhibitions on national and international level. Creates databases and plan the CRM activities to generate enquiries for potential business growth.
- Responsible to gather data through direct and indirect channels, give presentations, create material to ensure increasing new product awareness among the customers and distributors with technical team.
- Support the team by doing various activities to implement global key account management for enhanced customer satisfaction.
- Follow up and payment realization for all outstanding payments for domestic and international customers. He must ensure that adequate follow up must be done for all outstanding payments and efforts must be made to realize payments . Efforts must be made to keep not more than 10% of the amount pending out of the total receivables at any given time.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoicing of all material dispatched from the company.
- Keep track of the market developments and provide inputs for analysis of market trends and foresee upcoming market opportunities/ challenges.
- Generate enquiries, review enquiries and submit quotations against approved enquiries.
- Generate business through distributors and channel partners.
- Support ERP implementations in the department by ensuring that infrastructure is available, training is given to team and proper onsite/offsite support is provided to all executives for smooth implementation and rollout.
- Ensure proper follow up and support for all tasks assigned by team leader/Directors .
- Timely submission of data for MIS preparation. Works sincerely to ensure that all the data that goes as input for MIS, is maintained properly.
- Ensure ISO 9001 implementation and documentation with support and guidance from management representative.
- Must keep self and the team update about latest developments by attending conferences, trade shows, webinars , exhibitions . Also ensure to impart trainings to team, on all desirable topics.
- To ensure that a quality system is established implemented and maintained in accordance with the ISO 9001 quality management system standards.
- To ensure that the continuous improvement is going on after implementing the system.
- To establish control system on quality records.
