* Sourcing and planning Raw materials and capital equipments.
Achieve a favorable price variance for direct materials.
Lead time reduction to minimize production stoppages.
Extension of credit terms with suppliers.
Vendor selection and rationalization (including subcontractors)
Improve Vendor delivery performance in terms of quality and delivery.
Implement process and system to improve purchasing process.
Optimize productivity of the team-man management and optimum utilization of capacity and resources.
Evaluation an, techno-commercial Analysis of the Quotations, commercial Negotiation Skills.
Responsible for making purchase orders, for all the purchase indents received.
Follow up with the supplier, to get the materials on time.
Responsible for vendor rating/improving performance.
Responsible for maintaining all the documents related to purchase department.

Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :

Ability to understand Mechanical Drawings.
Should be familiar with vendors in equipment like Valves, Motors, Pipe, Tubes & Fittings.
Should be responsible for Just In Time Iventory.
Ability to understanding specifications & Quality needs as released by Engineering for every Material Requisition (MR). 
Proficiency on Cost Reduction Process & Vendor Development. 
Techno commercial Negotiations.
Comprehensive knowledge of Taxes & other commercial requirements in different States.
