Job Description:
Job responsibilities:
- The visa consultant must oversee all the aspects of visa services, ensuring that the process runs smoothly
- You must oversee the completion of all visa documents and ensure that they are received within the time limit set by the RCIC
- Draft legal documents and affidavits for submissions.
- To ensure that all the information provided by the client is accurate and correct, preparing and checking all the legal documents
- Communicate case specific advice (as per RCIC’s guideline) and implement practices specifically with regards to study, work, visit or Immigration applications.
Administrative support duties will include:
- Drafting correspondence, calendaring meeting, answering calls
- Maintains stock lists and orders office supplies as needed
- Preparing meeting materials as well as printing and binding of materials
- Coordinating meeting room set up and making arrangements for meeting
- Booking and managing e-travel plans
Key skills:
- Knowledge of immigration procedure and forms of IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada)
- Knowledge of Canadian provincial immigration will be an Asset.
- Excellent communication skill-written and verbal
- Knowledge of MS-Office suite, online-research, data-entry etc.
- Familiarity with office machines (e.g. fax, printer etc.)
- An asset if you have basic knowledge of procedural and processing requirements for various types of non-immigrant and immigrant visas; Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and other temporary residency permits like work permits, student permit, PNP and all PR relevant applications for Canada.
