Software Engineer SQL

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
1) Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly adopt new concepts.
2) Demonstrated strong judgment and decision-making ability.
3) Excellent skills and considerable experience with analysing requirements and developing application designs.

Skills:
1) Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements
2) Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
3) Prepare documentations and specifications
4) Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
5) Profile server resource usage, and optimize and tweak as necessary
6) Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
7) Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
8) Experience with some of the modern relational databases
9) Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
10) Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
11) Good to have – SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
