Job Description:
Job Profile:
- This is a Leadership role
- Be Accountable for Product Engineering Services Delivery
- Lead a team of hardware and software engineers to work together to deliver complex projects
- Be responsible for effort estimation and daily progress on each project
- Track the projects progress by using the project plan and schedule as a basis
- Individual contribution in Hardware and Firmware development to speedup the development work
- Maintains cross-functional project plans for each project
- Identify and communicate issues appropriately
- Define product development work and assign to respective engineer, responsible to complete work within timeline
- Ensure updation of team’s knowledge with respect to the latest in Electronics development
- Be customer interfacing person for all Project deliveries on behalf of the Company
- Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics
- Take initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity
- Kick-off projects and perform team alignment
- Plan for resources, skills & training required, Estimation, FMEA, PQA activities, Reuse, reviews, Risk Management, Testing, Measures & metrics, milestone meet, process tailoring and so on
- Create Process documents as needed
- Ensure that all deliverable assigned to team members are completed according to planned dates and with expected quality.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
An Ideal candidate shall be:
- 8 + years experienced in Product Engineering services
- 3+ years exp. as Embedded Lead development in hardware and firmware
- Worked on IoT based Embedded products
- Experience in system level debugging, reverse engineering, Linux Internals, Protocol level knowledge of interfaces
- Should able to execute 3 or more projects/products development work simultaneously
- Able to manage 20-25 member engineering team and resolve technical and people issues
- Have Experience in EMI/EMC and IP grade embedded product design
- Experience in certification process for UL, FCC, CE
- Strong at C/C++, embedded system development skills with 5- 10 years of proven experience in developing and debugging applications in an embedded system
- Strong in trouble shooting, hands on with Lab instruments like Oscilloscope, function generator, power supply etc
- Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies medium to large scale embedded systems development projects.
