Quality Manager- Goa
Job Description:
- Qualification : Should have passed BE / BTech (Mechanical/Prodution)
- Experience : Minimum 10 yrs to 20 yrs of work experience from Engineering Industry having Batch / Mass Production. Hands on experience of Engine or Motor Assembly will be preferred.
Quality Assurance
- Experience : Minimum 10 yrs to 20 yrs of work experience from Engineering Industry having Batch / Mass Production. Hands on experience of Engine or Motor Assembly will be preferred.
Quality Assurance
- Devising and implementing company quality assurance program in compliance with company requirements.
- Maintaining databases for the quality system and assisting in preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual reports and quality trending reports.
- Attending customer complaints / rejections, audit & corrective actions and fulfilling customers requirement.
Quality Control
- Inspecting and testing the products at various stages in the production process.
- Overseeing the documentation of test results (PPAP) and preparing the data in the form of a graph or chart.
- Suggesting changes to achieve the best quality possible and recommending the methods to minimize the amount of scrap.
Vendor Management
- Leading supplier selection, assessment and ongoing monitoring initiatives through supplier PPM.
- Ensuring the supplier base consistently achieves the company's delivery and quality requirements;
- providing sample approval clearance for vendor components.
- Executing vendor evaluation, vendor rating calculation and necessary actions for under performance and ensuring the implementation of error proofing systems at suppliers end.
Team Management
- Supervising, training and supporting the quality assurance personnel.
- Setting departmental objectives , individual KRAs , reviews & annual apprisals of team.
- Providing administrative and technical direction to all quality control personnel encompassing
- personnel administration, resolution of technical problems, development / approval of in-house training, etc.
- To Develop Second Line at all level Quality Functions by Imparting Training on Product Quality & System, QA/QC Process .
working knowledge of SAP
