Senior Planner for a Oil & Gas Company based in Malaysia (Contractual Role)

Purpose of role: Project Planning, Monitoring and Reporting

Key Responsibility Areas

Key Deliverables

Develop detail EPCI schedule as per industry best practices.

·         EPCI Schedule

Manhour calculation and resource loading of schedule.

·         Manhour Estimate

Prepare Planning, Progress Monitoring and Reporting Procedure

·         Planning Package Procedure

Provide Planned Deliverable Dates to the Engineering Master Deliverable List

·         Planned Dates in the MDL

Provide Required on Site Dates to Procurement Plan.

·         ROS Dates in Procurement Plan

Create EPCI Progress Tracking/ Reporting System

·         Progress measurement Sheets

Create   Manhour and Manpower Tracking/ Reporting System

·         Manhour/Manpower Histogram

To Prepare Weekly and Monthly Reports.

·         Weekly and Monthly Report

To Prepare Project Presentations as directed by Project Manager.

·         Monthly Project Review Presentations

Review and approve Subcontractor’s Schedule.

·         Approval of Subcontract Schedule

Review/Validate Subcontractor’s Progress and advise mitigation measures

·         Review and Analyze Subcontractor reporting

Perform Overall Project Schedule Analysis and recommend mitigation measures to Project Team

·         Schedule Analysis Report- part of MPR

Attend Meetings with Client and Subcontractors.

·         Attendance in meeting

Support Contracts Manager for claiming Extension of Time or Change Orders.

·         Narrative for EOT

Prepare Level IV Commissioning Schedules for Onshore and Offshore Commissioning.

·         Mini Plans for Commissioning

Qualification: Degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering

Experience:

-Minimum 15 years’ experience in Planning for Oil & Gas Industry specializing in FPSO or MOPU conversion.

- Experience in Detail Design Engineering Company will be an advantage.

Behavioral Competencies Required:

- Good analytical, verbal and written communication skills to accurately document, report, and present findings

- Good Interpersonal skills

-- Proficient in the use of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
