Job Description:
Monitoring/ tracking projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of the same
Managing overall operations for executing projects involving scoping, high level design & architecture, resource mobilization and execution within cost & time parametersEngaged in Techno-Commercial negotiations and Procurements / ordering of Capital Good and machinery.
Placing of Contract / ordering, Indigenous & Import Items
Coordination with design institutes for basic & detailed engineering Drawings for above said project’s, and with site execution team of Project to seamless execution.
Preparation of Project schedule and monitoring.
Fund Planning and monitoring of project.
Post ordering activity, follow-up with supplier, getting drawing approval and issuing of manufacturing clearance, stage inspection and final inspection, arrange for despatches and logistic,.
Coordination of internal department ie store, accounts/ finance and site execution team.
Conducting review meeting and monitor the progress of work.
Over all responsible to leading projects and time bounded results within the estimated cost

The company is in midst of implementing a 0.42 Million Tonne Per Annum (MTPA) integrated steel plant to produce steel. Steel thus produced will consume 0.315 Million Tonne Sponge Iron from the proposed unit and 0.03 Million Tonne from the existing unit. Thus consuming the entire quantity of high grade sponge iron produced in its own manufacturing facilities. When iron is smelted from its ore by commercial processes, it contains more carbon, phosphorus, sulphar etc. than is desirable. To produce high quality steel, the elements must be brought to the within the desirable limits. The liquid steel is processed through AOD and VOD furnaces to achieve the desirable limits of elements. The liquid is then continuously casted into long slabs or through ingots.
