Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identifying and developing business opportunities with new and existing customers by utilizing your product knowledge & applications experience in the HVAC market.
- Responsible for annual sales targets and sales growth of company.
- Securing long-term development of company’s business.
- Ensures quality standards are maintained for both pre-sale and post-sale customer support and order fulfilment.
- Call on and build relationships with new and existing customers, contractors, engineering and architectural firms.
- Act as a liaison between Branch Office staff and customers/partners.
- Initiate sales process, pre-qualify customers/partners and coach sales through to order.
- Preparation of sales proposals, estimates and take offs.
- Process and analyse feasibility assessments and/or all bid documents.

Desired experience for HVAC sales engineer includes:
- Some flexibility to work outside normal work hours, is required.
- Unphased by multiple activities all occurring at once.
- You will ideally have a proven track record in specification or contractor sales.
- Ideally you will have experience selling.
- Obtain, assemble, and organize all project documentation to turnover to operations.
- Required relevant work experience in a similar technical discipline or years in the HVAC,
- refrigeration, or controls experience can be a substitute, or PE.
- Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Required knowledge of skills, abilities Prior success estimating, selling and marketing HVAC
- mechanical solution projects and conceptual solutions to end-users at medium and large size
- companies in a highly competitive market. Experience performing heating and cooling load
- calculations Experience making equipment and systems selections
Education
- Degree in B.E. / B.Tech
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of experience in technical sales in HVAC industry, preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication, presentation and convincing skills.
- Should be result oriented individual.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to plan and execute.
- Leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel.
- Should be physically fit.
- Legal knowledge related to tendering and contracting
- Technical knowledge of drawing will be added advantage.
