Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with reliable suppliers
for agricultural products.
Procurement: Negotiate contracts, prices, and delivery schedules to secure favourable
terms.
Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and availability of agricultural
commodities.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards
and specifications.
Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the inventory team to
maintain optimal levels.
Compliance: Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements related to
procurement.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier
performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement, preferably in the agricultural sector.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Skills Required:
Vendor negotiation and relationship management.
Knowledge of agricultural products and market dynamics.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
