Job Description:

We are looking for a Lab Technician in our electronics laboratory

  • 2+ years professional experience in a electronics laboratory environment
  • Prepares test samples for Cross Section/Micro Section Analysis.
  • Perform optical and optical microscope inspections on completed PCBA assemblies per IPC-610A.
  • Sets up and operate standard and custom test equipment including various electrical parameter measuring devices, temperature/humidity chambers and optical microscopes.
  • Knowledge of Windows/MS Office applications.
  • Ability to operate standard electrical/electronic test equipment.
  • Current IPC-A-610 certification specialist.
  • Ability to perform light assembly operations including hand soldering skills.
  • Ability to read and understand industry standards and apply appropriate test methods accordingly.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Can handle multiple tasks simultaneously and respond to competing priority demands.
  • Ability to keep a working lab neat and organized.
  • Prepare solder joints using developed solder fluxes and perform characterization including metallographic cross-sectioning, SEM, X-Ray analysis, shear test, Tackiness Test, Halogen Test,  etc.
  • Standardize testing procedures for solder joints
  • Prepare samples and product data sheets for customers
  • Manage laboratory, chemical inventory, and project data.
