Technical Sales Development Manager - Injectable Parental Packaging
Job Description:
- Assisting in identifying and closing sales opportunities by providing technical assistance relating to Company's products
- to multi-national business teams, key development accounts and other assigned customers.
- Providing product and technical support, and recommendations concerning Company's products, services, and developing
- application formulation for the customers including working on product development/ formulations.
- Technical interface with the customers in promoting existing products, identifying (unmet) needs, and translating the
- needs into concepts for new products & maintaining business relationships.
- Lead technical support to product sales by supporting Sales & Marketing teams for prospect ion, Analytical &
- comparative evaluation of competition products and liaison between the Project Team and the Customer.
- Provide customer support on technical, quality and regulatory queries in connection with Sales force, manufacturing
- plants, regulatory and process expertise, product design teams.
- Define all customer and technical criteria needed for new product launches, new products and formula development or
- other development projects by understanding of requirements by market segment for all Company's products
- Identify trends in industry and assess evolving customer needs to develop, design and conduct technical studies of
- Company's products and technologies for generating and supporting Company's Technical Reports and commercial literature.
- Represent Company's in trade shows, conferences, seminars and industry forums.
- Work closely with customer’s commercial team to create new projects, work closely with QA and Operations on
- change control and assist customers with technical aspects of change and FAQ as needed
- Lead and accomplish packaging initiatives (vendor development, factory trials, installations, stability studies) with cross
- functional teams, factories and vendors, assist in troubleshooting activities related to packaging materials and machines.
- Resolve technical queries independently, in cooperation with QA/ QC and global technical teams as and when required.
- Ensure follow-up of all customers’ activities, in connection with Sales, regulatory and process expertise, product
- design teams, coordinate with manufacturing & quality teams for ETO and Gamma sterilization Validation.
- Develop and deliver training seminars for sales channel partners, customers, and events / trade shows on company
- products and offerings, writing technical marketing materials for product promotion, technical literature including PDS
- Work closely with commercial team to create new projects, to prioritize technical resources in top customer projects
- or high potential new business opportunities and ensure to achieve expected technical deliveries.
- Work in Customer’s laboratory, perform bench work and develop packaging solutions to solve customer’s technical
- problems or to meet technical targets on prioritized projects.
- Get in-depth understanding of market product, industry trend, and the key technology of popular products, Train
- customers & sales team to use company products more effectively.
- Technical promotion of the entire range of company products, services to the market by participation in exhibitions/
- innovation days, seminars etc. and also conducting technical seminars and Digital Campaigns for customers,
