Job Description:
The Sr. HRBP will be a crucial member of the HR team focusing on Talent Management, Leadership Development and Succession Planning for the IT, Technology, Cybersecurity and Analytics Service functions. The role holder will work in partnership with Business and HR leaders, key stakeholders, and other HR colleagues to shape, develop and implement HR solutions in line with business needs and priorities. Will advise, guide and support managers and employees by providing high level people management and development support.

The person will help create a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performance stimulating work environment for employees through effective HR processes & policies, talent acquisition, learning & development, talent management, employee engagement & HR operations also the person will Support key leaders in meeting business objectives through effective HR & talent practices and create value addition, monitor and manage people related risks in line with Enterprise Risk Governance Framework 
 

Strategic Role & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with BU HR Head to understand business priorities, overall strategy and plan for HR to detail out the annual charter to support business goals
Support formulation and lead execution of strategic initiatives for the target employee group in accordance to the prescribed Group guidelines

Integrated Talent Management & HR Business Partnership:

Talent & Career Management 

Ensure smooth communication and implementation of talent management processes (such as leadership development, HiPo identification and development initiatives, performance, and career management) for target employee group

Capability Building 

Support COE in the assessment of training needs of employees keeping in mind the future business requirements 


Performance Management Systems 

  • Participate in the Agenda Setting Conference to help formulate KRA’s for the target employee group; Facilitate KRA setting exercise for key stakeholders
  • Drive self-assessment and facilitate mid-year reviews and ensure feedback for employees is captured online in the PMS system
  • Provide support in case of any divergent view-point and facilitate calibration exercise to finalize performance ratings

  • Participate in defining of incentives and benefits plan and represent perspective of the employee group Employee Engagement and Connect 
  • Drive implementation of employee engagement initiatives across sites such as employee engagement surveys, pulse checks, etc. to ensure high level of employee engagement and retention of critical talent

Talent Acquisition:

  • Will work with the leadership team in drawing out Business Manpower Plans, work on annual budgets and obtain approvals for the same. Will be the custodian of the Organization Structure and will facilitate internal talent Movement plans
  • Will be involved deeply in the selection process. Responsible for coaching and guiding the leadership team w.r.t. Talent Acquisition requirements, will work closely with the TA COE to onboard candidates to the organization

  • Collaborate with Business HR Head and to align HR strategy to the target employee group
  • Interact with target consultants and build strategic relationship with the objective of leveraging them for business advancement in the future
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to understand their expectations and drive HR strategic initiatives and oversee performance and for helping make varied people related decisions
  • Interact with the candidate pool to guide them through the recruitment process
  • Conduct frequent interaction with other key HR stakeholders such as TA, L&OD, TM, etc. and support COEs (Shared services, IT, Finance) to ensure smooth running of all HR processes
 
  • Gathering/ Addressing employee feedback, concerns, and queries; maintaining connect with employees
 

Qualifications

Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management/ Organizational Psychology or relevant field
  • MBA from a premier institute 

Experiences:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience in HR with diverse experience in business partnering, talent acquisition talent management, HR operations, compliance, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience of working in a Business partnering / Generalist HR role, liaising with HR CoEs, business stakeholders and other external stakeholders for execution of HR projects/ initiatives, in line with business requirements
  • Preferable experience in digital Tech Companies
  • Experience of defining HR strategy and roadmap for the BU basis the overall function's strategy and taking inputs from multiple business stakeholders
  • Experience of conceptualizing, evaluating, and implementing strategic HR initiatives for employees in line with the overall objectives
  • Familiarity with relevant statutory requirements and labor legislations to ensure that the organization is fully compliant 
  • Exposure to deriving insights from statistical analysis of key HR metrics and designing interventions to address gaps for their business unit
  • Exposure to collaborating with L&D for designing and implementing business unit specific L&D initiatives to address various talent needs of HiPos, critical managerial positions and leadership positions
