Software - Industrial Automation Engineer
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Software/Industrial Automation Engineer to join our team. The Software/Industrial Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions for industrial automation systems. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in software development, industrial automation, and control systems, along with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in panel designing , Field as well as Control wiring , PLC & HMI Programming and Commissioning calibration and trouble shooting of industrial I/O device and scada System.
- Graphic Design on HMI
- Good Communication Skill
- Provide Service Support to field team regarding Electrical as well as software related Issue
- Excellent time management and organizational Skill.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions for industrial automation systems, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and technicians, to develop integrated automation solutions.
- Analyze system requirements and create software specifications to meet the needs of industrial automation projects.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems to control and monitor industrial processes and equipment.
- Test and troubleshoot software and automation systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Optimize and improve existing automation systems by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing software upgrades.
- Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical support and guidance.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development and industrial automation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users on how to operate and maintain the automation systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation of software designs, specifications, and project progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software/Industrial Automation Engineer, with expertise in software development and industrial automation systems.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C/C++, Java, Python, or ladder logic programming.
- Familiarity with PLC programming, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
- Experience with automation hardware, such as PLCs, sensors, actuators, and motor controls.
- Knowledge of control system design, process instrumentation, and data acquisition.
- Proficiency in software development tools and environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex automation systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accuracy in software development and system configuration.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial automation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
