Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

Diploma in Mechanical from a recognized University or Equivalent professional qualification.

• 8-12 years relevant experience.
• Conversant with industry standard software, such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Cad Worx, Navisworks review, SP3D, SP review and others
• Conversant with drafting of multi-discipline drawings in 2D and 3D format based on international and client specific standards and procedures
• Familiar with various coordinate systems and conversion of one system to the other.
• Ability to create template for drawing and extract drawings and material take off from 3D model.
• Ability to develop fabrication and shop drawings
• Conversant with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Saudi Aramco Projects experience (preferable)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• 3D model software administration
• Develop 3D model and generate drawings in 2D format
• Develop pipeline / equipment database based on project design data
• Coordinate with design team to carryout drafting / design activities
• Lead and administer clash check and generate clash report, arrange 3D model review with internal design team and client, and resolve clashes.
• Drawings development in 2D for multi-discipline drawings in Scale and NTS.
• Develop P&ID, Piping, Equipment, Structural and E&I modeling and generate all associated drawings
• Prepare Material Take-off
• Develop AS-BUILT deliverables based on construction redline markup
