- Minimum 5 years experience as an Assistant Manager in Assembly-Production field
- Salary for best candidate is negotiable.
Job description
Responsible for leading and monitoring all production activities in the assigned unit as per the production plan in compliance with all applicable quality and safety norms
Provide inputs for preparation of a master schedule in consultation with PPC to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet customer orders
Responsible for preparation of the weekly/monthly production schedule in consultation with Production Head and allocation of work to different sections as per the schedule.
Ensure stage wise and end of line inspection and take corrective action in case of any deviations from specified quality standards
Monitor status of consumables, spares and other inventories and coordinate with the Inventory, Stores and Logistics department to ensure availability as per the production plan
Review and approve material in SAP raised by Production Team member and intervene in case of any delays or issues
Responsible for ensuring adherence to safety standards by all employees in the unit
Identify any technical issues or resource shortages in the operations of the assigned unit and take corrective action; highlight any discrepancies to Unit Head
Oversee documentation of all production activities, including attendance of manpower, overtime, material consumption, inventory withdrawals, maintenance failures, etc.
