Business Head - Commercial Printing
Job Description:
Qualification: MA/MSc in Sales & Marketing or Management (preferred)
BA/BSc in Sales & Marketing, Management or Accounting & Finance
Engineer in Printing Technology
Linguistic skills: English: Written (Fluent) Spoken (Fluent)
Experience: - Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the commercial printing & packaging field, with minimum 5 years in a management position directly responsible for sales & marketing and production
- Minimum 5 years experience of managing a sales & marketing team of at least 10 individuals
- Serving at least 150 clients, from various sectors including, but not limited to: Multinationals, Private Enterprises, Banks, NGOs and Government, with individual order values ranging from $20 to $500,000
- Exposure to several printing technologies, namely offset, large format & digital.
- Managing sales of at least $3,500,000
Age: Minimum 35 years old
Product line: Offset Commercial (books, posters, flyers, etc), Digital (albums, business cards, etc) & Large Format (table cloths, billboards, pull up banners, etc)

- Ability to manage, monitor & inspire a team of 20+ individuals
- Goal setting for subordinates and subsequent productivity and target monitoring
- Staff recruitment & induction
Administrative Skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel
Key Responsibilities:
- Profitability:
- Achieving the sales & profitability targets as per the annual budget
- Handle price negotiations with clients
- Suggest different options to clients to increase profitability for company
- Continuous Process Improvement
- PR:
- Maintaining the strong reputation of the firm with clients
- Developing department specific marketing collateral & campaigns
- HR:
- Managing commercial sales & marketing team and related administrative tasks
- Ensuring security of assets directly allocated to commercial sales & marketing team
- Induction process & recruitment, and dismissal for direct reportees (for local and expat staff alike, within MOA)
- Ensuring a safe, collaborative, and professional workspace, that is in line with Company values
- Staff productivity analysis
- Finance:
- Approval of revenue expenditure as per MOA
- Administrative
- Collaborate with Finance team for continuous improvement of ERP to ensure all manual reports are computerized
- Reporting as defined
- Record keeping (sample approvals, contracts, etc)
- QMS/Environmental audit participation
- Production:
- Coordinate with production team to ensure orders are delivered as per client requirements
- Purchase/Procurement:
- To develop the new products and suppliers
- Stock Management:
- Update procurement & stores team of any major changes in client requirements that may affect raw material planning (either an expected increase or decrease in volume requirements)
