Job Description:

We are having an urgent opening for the position of AGM - IR& HR  for a reputed Manufacturing Company at the Kolkata location.

Experience:

  • 15 + years of HR experience in both medium & large organizations
  • Experience in leading and transforming HR functions in a manufacturing company
  • An excellent motivator with proven leadership and people skills
  • Exposure to IR / Labour laws
  • Having hands-on experience in Organization Development and Change Management
  • Energetic, result oriented and self-driven

Profile KRA

  • Culture & Change Management - Continuous communication, counselling and system development to create and establish a system-oriented organization
  • Internal brand building and communication
  • Performance Management-Prepare framework and monitor process of setting and reviewing KRA, Roadmap. Conduct the entire annual appraisal for Units and HO staff in coordination with HODs and Management.
  • Policy development- Prepare, update and circulate HR policies
  • Succession Planning and developing the second line through new induction and or upskilling of identified resources
  • Engagement and Retention - Feedback generation, design compensation and benefits, training opportunities, job rotation etc. Conceptualize, plan & conduct events to improve employee motivation, wellness and happiness   
  • Team Development and productivity improvement-balancing the blend of people sensitivities and business realities
  • Reward Recognition - Develop a recognition programme, frame systems and coordinate with the unit HR team and functional heads for implementation
  • HR Budgeting - preparation, rationalization and monitoring of manpower and admin costs for all units
  • Resource planning - Department-wise, Unit wise organogram preparation for new and existing units/ business
  • Recruitment – Source, evaluate and select the right candidates within desired TAT
  • Learning & Development - Training Need Identification in coordination with Unit HR team & HODs, prepare Training Calendar, select training module, faculty and maintain cost within budget
  • Employee Grievance Handling and conflict resolution - Regular connect with unit workforce for healthy IR
  • Oversee all relevant statutory compliances for units and projects and ensure compliance
  • Wage negotiation for unit workforce
  • Maintain discipline and implement disciplinary proceeding

Education:

MBA in HR from a reputed organization preferably with a background in Employment & Labour Laws
