Job Description:

• Plant Operator Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and overseeing plant operations.
  • Assisting with startup, shutdown, and operations of facility equipment.
  • Identifying problems that arise and resolving them.
  • Ensuring that safety and environmental rules and programs are strictly adhered to.
  • Conceptualizing and recommending plant improvement strategies.
  • Carrying out site inspections and audits.
  • Performing preventative and maintenance measures.
  • Observing gauges, dials, switches, and alarms, and other indicators to ensure that all machines are working properly.
  • Training new hires and cross-training other staff members.
  • Maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Operate Degumming manual valve (ON OFF Pressure) instruction by Sr. Operator
• Assist senior operator in maintaining critical operating parameters of controlling valves
• While caring Crystallization activity (to operate bottom valve) perform under the supervision of Sr. Operator
• Get instruction from Sr. Operator machine cloth/plates washing activity for smooth running of production process
• All the workings and readings to be recorded in the daily log sheet and submitted to the reliever and finally to the Production Manager
• Check the Gums level in degumming tank through display glasses if maximizes the level then shift to third degumming tank
• Check the Misela was in Golden colour and Gums was in Black in colour and operate
• Check the Weak Misela with 20% Oil will send for reprocess to separate the gums from Misela
• Check the Weak Misela for further process with the washing(add Acetone) and steaming (50 degree Celsius) process to get pure Misela
• Adjust the level of three degumming (i.e D1 D2 D3) tanks and final product of degumming process output store in DGM (Degum Misela) tank
• Ensure the degumming process will go through by three process D1 remove the large gums ,D2 tank removes the medium gums and D3 tank will remove the small gums
• Minimum temperature of overflow or rotation process during Crystallization activity and report the same
• Operational log record
• Verbal report of temperature and other operational status
• Maintaining a Routine Transaction/ TASK Punching in SAP as per modules established.
• To perform all the work as per Standard Operating Procedure
• In case of any machinery breakdown immediately report to senior , make arrangements for repair work, take corrective action and resume the production process
• To perform all the operation under the safety guidelines
• Record NEAR MISS in the site
