Job Description:
Position : Estimation Engineer - Mechanical
Location :Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia
Experience requirement :  1-5 years   
Joining Date : Immediately to 30 days
 
Responsibilities and Duties: 
  • Prepare Tender MTO’s from site survey and conceptual drawings. 
  • Calculate tender direct and indirect cost manpower manhours, materials, .etc. 
  • Conduct site visits with client and generate site visit report. 
  • Generate tender RFQ’s documents that will be floated to market suppliers and service providers. 
  • Float tender RFQ’s to supplier and services providers. 
  • Review offers received from suppliers and service provider. 
  • Prepare technical and commercial bid documents including but not limited to scope of work, schedule, manpower and equipment deployments...etc in line with client RFQ documents. 
  • Coordinate with subcontractor and service providers after award of contract. 
  • Verification of design package against bid time Qty’s after award of contract 
  • Calculate the costs relating to pipeline and engineering projects. This may include new builds, renovations or maintenance work. 
  • Early design costs to final figures, seek to minimize the costs of the project. 
  • Calculation of variation orders and prepare complete change order package for onward discussion with client 
  • enhance value for money whilst ensuring that the project meets all legal and quality assurance requirements and regulations. 
  • Conducting feasibility studies to estimate materials, time and labor costs after award of contract 
  • Preparing, negotiating and analyzing costs for tenders and contracts with subcontractors and service providers after award of contract 
  • Coordination of work effort 
  • Advising on a range of legal and contractual issues   
  Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 
Skills and Knowledge 
  • Fabrication shop experience 
  • Methodical way of thinking 
  • Good knowledge of fabrication and drawings verification 
  • Excellent problem solving skills 
  • Good financial and numeracy management skills 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
  • Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily 
  • Computer literate 
  • Clear understanding of HFE shops regulations and legal guidelines 
  • Sheet metal estimation experience
