Position: IT SAP Functional Specialist

Experience: 5+ years

Availability: 30 days

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform detailed analysis of business requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
• Identify, interpret, validate and document business requirements.
• Map business requirements, processes and objectives. Develop, customize and configure necessary system modifications, perform testing and document results.
• Act as the liaison between IT technical team and business functions to ensure requirements and progress are communicated accurately and timely.
• Work with business functions in problem solving and troubleshooting. Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
• Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
• Research SAP system, OSS and other resources for solutions to business requirements and the implementation of new business process improvements. Research new technologies and functionality, making recommendations.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in full cycle implementation of SAP ECC.
• Extensive experience in SAP PP and MM modules and fluent in the end to end supply chain and manufacturing process.
• Working knowledge of the functionality of other core SAP modules (FI, CO, SD, QM) and integration points.
• Working knowledge of ABAP Workbench.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
• Ability to work in a team environment and effectively interact with others.
• Must be result oriented and demonstrate attitude of adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
• Work self-directed and independently.
