Job Description:
Overall Job Responsibility
1. Ensuring Excavation and development of Mine as per Excavation (annual/ quarterly/ monthly/ weekly) plan. Coordinate for drilling and blasting as per requirements. Comply with all the requirements of mining as per MMDR Act, Mines Act, Rules MMR 1961 Ensure excavation of OB ROM as per plan. Ensuring dispatch of ore to customer as per schedule. Ensuring action on all the quality related complaints by the customer on daily basis. Corrective and Preventive action in case of any deviation from quantity quality
2.Understanding knowledge of DGMS guidelines, Mines Act , Rules, Regulations bye laws Maintain all the records as per statute.
3. Ensure use of PPE by all the employees including contract workers. Ensure VT SOP training of all the workers working under him. Ensure safety of workmen, machine, community and stake holders. Compliance to SEMS. Ensuring safe operation of the equipment deployed by the contractor

Company Profile
The company is in midst of implementing a 0.42 Million Tonne Per Annum (MTPA) integrated steel plant to produce steel. Steel thus produced will consume 0.315 Million Tonne Sponge Iron from the proposed unit and 0.03 Million Tonne from the existing unit. Thus consuming the entire quantity of high grade sponge iron produced in its own manufacturing facilities. When iron is smelted from its ore by commercial processes, it contains more carbon, phosphorus, sulphar etc. than is desirable. To produce high quality steel, the elements must be brought to the within the desirable limits. The liquid steel is processed through AOD and VOD furnaces to achieve the desirable limits of elements. The liquid is then continuously casted into long slabs or through ingots.
